The sound of Echo is a layered one, mixing the generational nature of a family – and the bonds they share through different tonal registers. There is indie soft rock, blending with new romantic-esque queer cultural icons. Tech-laced anthems next to twinkling piano, and the raw sensuous nature of defiance.

Sometimes they clash, yeah, of course they do. Sometimes it’s as if they’re all working from different registers. But it’s also the same with a family. Sometimes a family doesn’t sound harmonious; sometimes they clash, sometimes they pull in different directions. But you listen beneath the surface, and you’ll find what exists underneath.

And that, to me, is Echo.
